Car wash on Sat., May 18 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Sequim QFC parking lot . Proceeds go to benefit the safe and sober, all-night Sequim senior graduation party being planned and organized by parents. Cost is by donation. (The graduation party is not a school-sponsored event.)

Helen Haller Elementary School and Sequim High School recently received awards from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) for their efforts to close achievement gaps. The Washington Achievement Awards, based on Washington’s School Achievement Index, recognize elementary, middle/junior high, high and comprehensive schools. Schools are awarded using performance from 2010-2012 on statewide assessments in reading, writing, math and science as well as on graduation rates.
