Announcements

  •  Stuff the Bus with donated school supplies for Sequim students on Saturday, August 2 between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the bright yellow school bus parked in the Sequim Wal-Mart parking lot.  Donated school supplies will be dispensed during the Aug. 23 Back to School Fair at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.  For information, call Patsene Dashiell at (360)582-3264.

  • The Back to School Fair, offering resources for families with children ages 0 - 18, will be on Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club at 400 W. Fir St. in Sequim.  There will be fun activities, free food and services including free books, school supplies, haircuts, face painting and more.  Information about Sequim schools, local preschools, immunizations and more will be available.

    A BLOCKfest event will take place during this time at the Helen Haller Elementary gym.  BLOCKfest is an interactive math, science and literacy event for parents and their children ages 8 months to 8 years.  For more information about BLOCKfest, contact Marilyn Walsh at (360)582-3262.

  • New school meal prices for 2014-15:  Breakfast is $1.30/elementary, $1.40/middle school, $1.50/high school and $2.25/adults.  Lunch is $2.25/elementary, $2.45/middle school, $2.50/high school and $3.50/adults.

  • A Summer Lunch Program for all Sequim kids ages 1 - 18 is being served daily (Mon. - Fri.) at noon at three sites: Sequim Boys & Girls Club, Carrie Blake Picnic Shelter and Elk Creek Apartments. Breakfast is also served at the Boys and Girls Club from 8 - 8:30 a.m.

  • The SmileMobile (a fully equipped mobile dental clinic) is coming to Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir Street, July 28 - August 8, 2014. To schedule an appointment or for more information, please call 1-(888)286-9105. Appointments should be scheduled before July 25.
